Description:

Technical Support Group is currently recruiting for Site Safety Inspector, responsible for:

• Implementing project specific safety management plans and establishing project specific safety objectives
• Providing technical safety support and assistance to construction management personnel as required to effectively and proactively manage safety hazards, issues and concerns during construction execution
• Actively monitor project safety performance, assess hazards, identify trends and improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
• Formally assess individual contractors overall safety performance periodically throughout and at the end of the project and provide feedback to contractors on improvement opportunities and follow-up required

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety, Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent professional safety designation
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible field safety inspection experience in occupational health and safety in an oil & gas or industrial construction environment
• The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in pipeline and oil & gas operations and hazards and safety management practices.
• Combined with your proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation and leadership skills you will be placed in a great position within this role.

• Pay rates will be based on experience and current market standards.
