Responsibilities:
To assemble documentation, log, index and compile into Manufacturing data books and associated manuals in accordance with Project specific Quality Plans and appropriate QMS Procedures.
The primary requirement is to ensure that a comprehensive record can be compiled to demonstrate the technical integrity of the manufacturing and delivery process. In addition, Data Books shall be compiled to meet the Company’s contractual obligation to our Clients.
Receive manufacturing documentation from factory and log.
Receive supplier documentation and prepare traceability sheets Prepare documentation indexes.
Retrieve and print Company As Built documentation
Compile Data Books in accordance with the relevant Company and Client requirements
Arrange copying and imaging as requested
Despatch documentation to clients
Arrange review by internal and external quality organisations.
Requirements:
Some experience within an engineering documentation environment.
Some knowledge of documentation work flow in a manufacturing environment
Ability to operate electronic document management systems – preferably SAP
Basic understanding of design documentation generation and revision and the ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings, documents and procedures
Working familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications
Must understand the importance of meticulous review of completed test and inspection procedures and have the ability to identify errors and omissions, and report them accurately to the relevant originator.
