Responsibilities:
Overall supervision of structural layout and modelling and design personnel.
Ensure Technical competence of structural personnel.
Forecast requirement for design resources, and allocate resources appropriately.
Structural design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.
Prepare structural discipline manhour estimates to perform project tasks.
Check compliance with QA/safety/environment goals.
Manage structural design and design changes within budget and schedule.
Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
Prepare weekly structural progress and reports on a project specific basis.
Benchmark structural design/drafting to identify areas of improvements.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to WorleyParsons.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Ownership of design activities
Requirements:
Diploma in Civil/Structural/ Offshore Engineering
Minimum 15 years’ design experience in design and execution of offshore structures or FPSOs and have executed two offshore projects as Lead Structural Designers
Proficient in offshore design softwares
Strong team player and proactive
Good interpersonal and communication skills
