Responsibilities:
Review the prime contract and develop the Project Execution Strategy
Build the project team and motivate it to deliver the project to the agreed time, cost and quality.
Ensure project is effectively managed, controlled, coordinated & reported in line with the WorleyParsons Project Management Process(WPMP)
Advise the Project Sponsor on all matters related to finance and administration, budget and schedule.
Make key appointments and make effective use of teaming and resource management in execution.
Agree the project Work Breakdown Structure.
Manage customer and corporate interfaces.
Manage client expectations and deliver solutions to meet his needs.
Ensure that project HSE and quality management systems are developed and adhered to.
Ensure that audits & peer reviews are carried out in accordance with the project audit schedule.
Ensure the timely preparation of internal and external reports as required to secure all necessary management decisions and approvals and to keep all parties informed of project progress.
Preparation of the Monthly Report (incorporating data for all work areas).
Identification in consultation with Managers, areas of concern and the necessary recovery programs.
Reviewing and monitoring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Minimum experience requirements are 15 years relevant project management experience in an Oil & Gas/FPSO project environment.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability, initiative and problem solving capability.
Ability to work under pressure in an environment which expects the highest levels of customer service, confidentiality and ethical behaviour.
Must possess people management and leadership skills, have a strong commercial awareness and experience of implementing project control systems, safety and quality management systems.
