Responsibilities:
 
·         Provides day to day direction in all aspects of Global Human Resources. Assumes group responsibility for development of company guidelines, policies and procedures. Develops and assists the implementation of human resource programs for all foreign entities.
·         Maintain involvement with new foreign entities for an extended period to develop policies, processes and procedures and handle employee relations issues.
·         Responsible for implementation of Global Assignment Agreements, maintain compliance and understanding of global tax and U.S. immigration and regulations. Provide guidance on tax and immigration regulations to employees and line managers.
·         Research and analyze benchmarking and market survey data relative to global assignment program policies, procedures and practices to ensure the equitability of the company’s expatriate tax issues. 
·         Manage relationships and negotiate pricing with expatriate vendors and service providers.
·         Global travel is required.
 
Qualifications:
 
·         Minimum of 10-12 years directly related experience. Generalist experience to include compensation, training, recruiting, employee relations, labor law, policy administration, and organization development.
·         Must be results-oriented with a strong customer service orientation and ability to operate at all levels of an organization in a highly technical environment. Team facilitation skills and experience and demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems impacting people, process and program issues are needed.
·         Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required, including ability to provide briefing and training to diverse audiences. Must be able to effectively influence individuals of varying backgrounds and learning styles.
·         Must be able to operate independently where appropriate, but understand when to escalate issues. Strong analytical skills and ability to work on basic processes as well as strategic initiatives are needed.
·         Must be a strong team player with the ability to establish effective working relationships with peers, subordinates and superiors through contributions in team settings and working groups.  Must adapt to shifting priorities. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) needed.
 
 
In addition to the required skills:
 
·         Five or more years of supervisory/management experience is desirable. Experience with coordinating HR functions globally. 
·         BS/BA in a business related field. MBA or related degree is desired.  GPHR certification preferred.
