Responsibilites:
Supervise directional drilling operations on the rig site.
Supervises the drilling process so that the desired directional well path and target objectives are achieved.
Control well bore paths, figuring survey computations, bit hydraulics, rate of penetration, and bottom hole assemblies.
Maintain a complete listing of all directional tools and survey equipment on location, and days on location.
Assist and advises directional drilling trainees.
Assist in the marketing, sales, and promotion of company products.
Responsible for all Weatherford reports this includes First, Torque & Drag, Well Surveying, Anti-collision and Hydraulics Programs.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering/Earth Science
Requires 7-10+ years directional drilling experience
Experience and ability to solve problems and perform with minimal supervision
Available on a 24 hour call basis to respond to customer needs
Willingness to travel and work worldwide
Preferabelly with Offshore experience
Good interpersonal skills with clients and other rig personnel
