Responsibilities:
Development and delivery, within the established project or other guidelines, of Marine & Transportation Engineering documents relating to defined workscope
Delivery, within the established project or other guidelines, of constructuion engineering input to design, fabrication and installation of deck supports and seafastenings relating to defined workscope.
Engineering and technical delivery of the assigned Project scope in accordance with the requirements of the Customer, the SapuraAcergy Management System and the Design and Construction Engineering (DCE) suite of documents.
Ensuring that their engineering workscope meets the operational requirements of the project and vessel and has undergone review in line with the Project internal document control/ checking process
Ensuring that specifications and other documents relating to their assigned Project scope have been reviewed and agreed by the project team and that all quality issues are captured in the various vendor's and the project's Quality Control Plan.
Actively support and participate in Project HSE & HIRA processes
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering equivalent (or higher)
Essential – 3+ years Design/ Installation/ Subsea construction
Preferred – Specific knowledge of marine & transportation procedures relating to loadout/ seafastening & movement of cargo/pipe transportation vessels
Preferred – Some knowledge vessel stability and of the necessary analysis & calculations used to design seafastenings and deck grillage
Preferred – Some knowledge of the standard and special details used in the fabrication and installation of seafastenings and deck supports for linepipe and structures.
Preferred – Some knowledge & experience of offshore freight forwarding & dispatch including exportation & customs procedures
Proficient in English, with good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure with little direct supervision or guidance and still meet the project deadlines
Ability and willingness to work at sites and locations other than the main company office, including offshore
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
