Responsibilities:
Development and delivery of fully checked Installation Engineering documents and other deliverables relating to defined responsibilities
Delivery within workscope of construction and installation engineering input to design, fabrication testing and handling of special pipeline features eg Anodes, Field Joint Coatings, Tees, Valves, PLET's & Pig Launchers/ Receivers.
Contributing from personal experience to the successful completion of all assigned engineering and operational tasks
Engineering and technical delivery of the assigned Project scope in accordance with the requirements of the Customer, the SapuraAcergy Management System and the Design and Construction Engineering (DCE) suite of documents.
Ensuring that their engineering workscope has undergone review by suitably competent people to
reduce risk to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP)
represents the optimum solution which is "fit for purpose"
in full compliance with the customers and internal requirements
is fully integrated
is produced in a time-scale that is commensurate with the project schedule.
Ensuring that specifications and scopes of work within their workscope have been reviewed and agreed by the relevant centres of competence and that all quality issues are captured in the various vendor's and the project's Quality Control Plan.
Actively support and participate in Project HSE & HIRA processes
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering equivalent (or higher)
Essential – 5+ years Design/ Installation/ Subsea construction
Essential – 1+ year Active operational involvement in rigid pipeline lay operations including startup, routine pipelay, lay of valves & tees and cut to length/ laydown.
Essential – Specific familiarity with pipeline installation analysis output
Preferred – Knowledge and experience of S-Lay, J-lay and DP pipelay
Preferred – Specific knowledge of the design, fabrication, testing, handling and installation of special pipeline features eg Tees, Valves, PLET’s & Pig Launchers/ Receivers also Specific knowledge of the use and limitations of ROV’s in all aspects of Pipeline installation and pre-commissioning
Proficient in English, with good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure with little direct supervision or guidance and still meet the project deadlines
Ability and willingness to work at sites and locations other than the main company office, including offshore
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
