Responsibilities:
Conductor hang-off study
Jacket On-Bottom Stability Analysis
Padeyes/Trunnion design
Pile/Conductor Stick-Up Study
Driveability Analysis
Hammer Selection Study
Structural Damage/Repair Study
Welding Design and Sizing
Structural check and Certification
Miscellaneous installation aids design Primary job objectives:
Designs best mooring arrangement for derrick and laybarge for offshore operation.
Designs and assists in preparing operations sketches. He will also check any interference problem in offshore installation.
Identifies the most optimum installation method using the available equipment and in accordance to the client's specification and
international specification.
Ensures safe and efficient offshore installation operations
Provides technical advise and assistance to operation and marine departments.
Identifies optimum and best rectification design of any repair works.
Solves all engineering problems arisen from day to day installation work.
Requirements:
Qualified to degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
With a minimum of 4 years relevant experience, the holder of this position must have a demonstrable and relevant track record in the performance of subsea and offshore works.
Proficient in English, with good oral and written communication skills
Offshore Engineering knowledge (stream activities)
Excellent analytical skills
