Responsibilities:
To plan, oversee and control marine operations supporting Company offshore platforms requiring materials, equipment, spare parts and chemicals.
Performs on behalf of Company, varying type of vessel On & Off-Hire inspections in accordance with industry recognized and approved standards.
Initiates and follows up on various marine contracts, contracts repair and reconditioning of cargo containers, Surveyor contracts.
Directs marine vessel loading and unloading operations, prepares shipping documents including but not limited to manifests, dangerous goods declarations, safety data sheets.
Compiles day to day data on fuel, water, consumables and crewing required for audits.
Initiates and administers the request for services under current Sharing Agreement with our company.
Requirements:
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by finalized training in an engineering discipline equivalent to 2 years full time.
Minimum of five years as marine offshore support position, varied experience in handling materials, equipment and logistic activities in supporting offshore Oil & Gas operations.
Previous experience of offshore/onshore, helicopter operations, and certified for Transportation & Handling of Dangerous/Hazardous Goods by Sea.d. Computer literate.
Good written and oral skills in English.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
Good adaptability and appreciation in a multinational/multicultural environment.
