We are currently recruiting for the following position.
Reporting to the Manager of Compensation and working with a small team of compensation professionals, the Compensation Advisor will be responsible for assisting in the completion of market assessments of all [Company] occupations and preparing reports and recommendations for review by HR and line management. The position will also provide support in the areas of job evaluation, board and senior management compensation, and technology development to deliver compensation programs.
Accountabilities:
· Assist in determining the specifications for the design of technology solutions to implementing compensation programs;
· Prepare data survey input for submission to various compensation surveys, including working with Human Resources and line management in matching positions to industry benchmarks, generating and modifying internal data reports, and submitting data to consulting organizations;
· Analysis of the results of salary surveys to determine [Company]’s competitive position in relation to other survey participants;
· Prepare reports and presentations for management review;
· Program and generate Access reports from HRIS;
· Assist in completing job evaluations.
Capability Requirements:
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with and distil large amounts of numerical data, including superior attention to detail;
· High level of discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information;
· University degree in a commerce or HR related discipline;
· Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Access;
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to balance competing priorities;
· 3-5 years of directly related Human Resources experience.
· Strong preference for experience in the compensation area of the human resources profession;
· Knowledge of SAP HR module would be an asset;
· Knowledge of the upstream and shared services organizations and occupations;
· A CHRP Designation would be considered an asset.

· Strong communication skills, verbal and written;
· Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver to specific and non negotiable time deadlines.
