Job Description
- Provides overall leadership of project engineering,
- Provides primary technical expertise and leadership in the areas of subsea, floating production, production treatment and processing and/or topsides design and equipment,
- Provides functional support for Planning processes
- Compiles Engineering, Procurement and Contract Management portions of the Project Execution Plan,
- Responsible for project engineering activities including cost estimation and control, permitting, scheduling, materials procurement and contracting
- Engineering resource planning and sourcing,
- Maintains information on new and relevant technology and is able to recommend and support technology selection decisions,
- Reviews and approves Contractor and Vendor QA/QC Plans and inspection hold points,
- Supports all stages of the project including Pre-FEED, FEED, civil, structural, mechanical, I&E, piping & interconnect systems, construction, fabrication and installation
- Solicit and act upon feedback from Project Manager and other Project Team and PSO members
- Plan and facilitate value improving practices
- Participate in the Management of Change Process
- Capture Lessons Learned from projects
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Engineering
- 5-10 years experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Process or Topsides Supervisor or Engineer
- Strong familiarity with Project Management practices
