Our Company
[Company] is the province’s largest licensed sour gas processor with facilities located in the Whitecourt and Fox Creek areas of Alberta with the head office located in Calgary, AB. [Company] interest is centered on three large sour gas plants with an extensive gas gathering system currently providing processing services to producers in the area.
Our Need
An immediate position exists for a qualified intermediate Facility Engineer reporting to the Calgary Projects Team Leader in our Calgary office.
Duties
- Project Management
- Cost estimates and scheduling for various facility projects
- Coordinate pipeline and compressor station design and construction
- Assist with sour gas treating, three-phase separation, gas dehydration, hydrocarbon liquids recovery and sulphur recovery
- Assist with business development and joint venture agreements
- Provide technical support for tie-in of producer wells and pipelines to [Company] facilities
Qualifications
- Self-motivated
- Engineering Degree
- 5-10 years of applicable experience in Alberta
- Professional Engineer registered with APEGGA
