[Company] is a Calgary-based oil and gas company engaged in exploration for and the acquisition, development and production of natural gas and crude oil in western Canada. [Company]'s current exploration and development efforts are focused in the West Pembina Nisku and West Central Alberta Gas fairway, both located in Central Alberta.
Based out of Drayton Valley and reporting directly to the Area Foreman, this position is primarily accountable to:
- Monitor and maintain the area field facilities (battery, satellite and wells) on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to:
- Control process start-up, shut down and troubleshooting
- Adjust valves, pumps, controls and process equipment
- Perform testing as required
- Record required data from meter’s and instrumentation
- Input production information into field data capture system
- Monitor equipment and identify maintenance requirements
- Ensure compliance with [Company] safety procedures and act accordingly
- Contribute to maximize production potential and reliability of production levels
- Maintain complete and accurate logs for the use of company vehicles
- Other responsibilities as requested
This position will involve shift work based on a compressed work week schedule. Further details will be provided.
In addition to your certificates including TDG, H2S, WHMIS and First Aid, you have 2-5 years field operations experience within sour or critical sour operation. While possessing strong communication skills you are proficient with PVR systems, self motivated and thrive on being an effective team player. With a natural team aptitude you will be able to assist the [Company] team to achieve desired results.
