Responsibilities:
Provide quality technical engineering solutions and support to both internal and external customers thus contributing to the successful Financial Performance of the Australian Organisation
Work closely with client Completion and/or Drilling Teams to identify best case Sand Control solutions
Assist with the supervision of assembly, make-up and installation of product solutions at the well site when required
Liaising with other internal Engineering support departments both within the Region and Corporate levels to provide solutions and to gain an understanding of technologies
Identify and develop opportunities with other Business Units/Technologies
Evolve strategies and tactics to facilitate increased solutions sales
Represent our company at key industry and client forums
Assist the Business Units with technical sales campaigns
Regular Client interaction
Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Mechanical, Petroleum and/or Oil & Gas disciplines
Formal training and experience with industry recognised Computer modelling and design software (eg. CAD/WellPlan/NETool)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General computing skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong organisational and Project Management skills
Minimum of 3 years OilField related experience
Strong and broad understanding of Well Construction, Completion and Intervention techniques
Practical knowledge of modern rig operations
