Responsibilities:
Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system.
Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
Actively promote positive safety culture.
Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9002 (where applicable) quality assurance system.
Compliance to work instructions.
Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.
Onsite supervision
Under direct instruction of Sr. Drilling Supervisor, provide onsite supervision in order to carry out safely and efficiently drilling actives in accordance with approved drilling program, WFT established Operation procedures, policies and acceptable industry practise;
Provide onsite technical expertise to resolve practical problems and to minimize non productive time, reduce flat time;
Take every decision in case of emergency to guarantee the safety of all persons involved, the well, WFT equipment, client related assets and the environmental protection;
Direct and coordinate other WFT product line, service companies, engineers/technicians in order to ensure that they provide their functions safely, efficiently;
Closely coordinate with all involved parties to minimize non productive time due to delay of personnel, equipment, material, transportation etc;
Comply with Client QHSE Procedure, WFT QHSE manual, policies;
QA/QC control all consumables and material delivered, to ensure they are conforming with their specifications;
Ensure the quality control of the reporting issued from the Rig, including but not limit to, daily plan, daily drilling report, daily cost estimate, BOP test report, specified technical report, equipment failure report, incident report, and other reports related to QHSE issue;
Propose the lessons learned during the operation, assist Drilling Engineering group to make Post Well Report;
Closely coordinate with Client Onsite Representative to ensure operation implementation smoothly and effectively without scarify Safety;
Promote safety orient operation culture; improve crew safety awareness; to minimize Recordable Incident Ratio as per OSHA Standard.
Other duties may be assigned by upper management from time to time;
Requirements:
Fluent in English and Mandarin;
Strong team work player;
Good understanding of culture diversity;
Good communication and interpersonal skill;
Good understanding of petroleum engineering
Good understanding of drilling and completion engineering and operation
Understanding of downhole problem; strong problem solving skill;
Understanding of International Well Control Standard and practise;
Strong leadership
Good understanding of Drilling Equipment/material (bits and bottom hole assembly, rig equipment, wellhead, BOP, etc)
Casing and Cementing Engineering
Drilling and completion fluid engineering
Hydraulic optimization
Directional, horizontal and multilateral drilling (planning, designing, and coiled tubing application).
Familiar with latest technology of Drilling, Completion, Work over, and Well service
Good understanding of international QHSE standard and practise;
Good understanding of open hole logging interpretation;
Understanding of Petrography (lithology identification from cores, petrographical data interpretation).
Valid IWCP and/or IADC WellCap certification;
B.S Petroleum Engineering or related engineering field
5+ years of working experience as diversified petroleum industry experience in drilling, completion and workover activities;
Self started, innovative, pro-active and work independently;
Ability to self motivated, and motive others;
Ability to work with numerous personnel from diverse background;
Willingness to travel
Willingness to finish the assigned task on time
Willingness working under pressure
