Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Private sector land surveying establishments
Area of Survey Specialization: Geodetic, Topographic, Engineering, Land development, Construction, Oil and gas exploration
Field Skills Experience: Traditional survey equipment, Total station operation, Global positioning system
Specific Skills: Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities
Additional Skills: Supervise other land surveyors and field crews
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
Other Information: We offer a Northern Living Allowance of $5.00/Hour. Transportation to and from the work site is provided.
