Responsibilities:
Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system.
Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
Actively promote positive safety culture.
Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9001 (where applicable) quality assurance system.
Compliance to work instructions.
Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.
To operate Slickline tools & equipment as required within the capabilities in a manner consistent with the company & client work instructions in order to achieve the safe delivery of all objectives as set out in the client’s various operations programmes.
To comply with the Company and Client / Customer Health, Safety, Environmental, Operational and Q.A. Procedures and Work Instructions.
To actively participate in the promotion of good HSE practice including but not limited to risk assessment, safety tours & audits on an as required basis.
Ensure that you maintain a clean work area at all locations and that all tools and equipment used are maintained in a good, clean and functional condition.
Complete Company Operational Reports in accordance with Quality Procedures in a timeframe consistent with client & company expectations.
Ensure that Trainees under your immediate control conduct their work in accordance with Company Client / Customer approved practices.
Encourage & coach assistants in an attempt to gain their level 1 competence award.
Ensure that Company Client / Customer Equipment have valid Certification, is in good condition and safe for use prior to and during Operations.
Comply with Company & client rules regarding the correct use and operation of Personal Protective and Safety Equipment in order to ensure a safe and incident-free workplace environment.
Contact the Operations Coordinator on a daily basis or as instructed to receive job and check-in details. Additionally, attend pre-and post-job briefings as instructed to ensure that the communication of issues and information is facilitated.
Attend industry and Company training as instructed and required by the Company, industry or clients (i.e. pre-spud meetings, team-build events, etc as requested by the Client).
Apply where appropriate Client Company’s, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Safety Management Systems.
Requirements:
1. Good English communication skills.
2. Minimum 5 years operations in offshore environment.
3. Professional, Technical, Academic Certificates required for the job.
4. Offshore survival certificate
5. A broad knowledge of all major slickline tool manufacturers’ tools & equipment.
6. Good understanding of the oil industry
7. Capable of working on own initiative & as part of a larger team structure. Willing to travel at short notice, often for an undetermined period of time, depending on client requirements.
8. Flexible to accommodate operational requirements and with a positive approach to work
9. Resilient and able to cope in a difficult and harsh working environment
10. Physically fit to work offshore in a manual capacity
11. The practical ability to maintain the tools & equipment as required to carry out a slickline operation offshore.

14. Previous Open and Cased Hole Wireline Technologist experience.
15. College or higher.
16. Previous QC/Preventative Maintenance experience.
17. Hydraulic/mechanic skills.
18. Experience of working with a broad selection of all major wireline tool manufacturers’ tools & equipment.
