Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for creating, analysing and integrating spatial data.
We require 2 appointments in this area, one position will be more focused on providing support to the environmental aspects of the business, the other more focused on the spatial data life cycle and data management.
Opportunities exist in both for exposure to the other parts of the company and to further develop skills in Geomatics and Geospatial applications.
Requirements:
You will have a tertiary qualification in GIS, a combination with Environmental Science or Cartography will be highly regarded.
Data management experience would be beneficial.
Expertise in the field of environmental modelling / monitoring is desirable and some background in the Oil & Gas industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
You will have a thorough understanding of GIS concepts with a minimum of 3 years experience with ESRI ArcGIS.
