Responsibilities:
Lead the Lean initiatives for the Mfg Asia COE, driving suitable process improvements to meet and exceed customer CTQs.
Act as Lean champion, driving Lean Manufacturing Culture throughout the entire organization, training employees in Lean concepts and driving Action Work Outs (AWOs).
Build Lean Vision for the Asia COE Working together with the Mfg COE leader, plant managers and P&L leader.
Build, lead and /or facilitate cross-functional project teams to increase productivity and reduce lead times.
Coach and mentor manufacturing leadership team in Lean manufacturing
Develop Lean roadmaps to track progress on projects completion, lead time, inventory and labor productivity improvements.
Work with the other world MFG COEs Lean Leaders and local businesses in the region to share best practices and standardize processes and metrics.
Develop value Stream maps for OTR processes in the different product lines from the region and works with the Materials group to resolve product cycle quotes challenged by the commercial team.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (Mechanical is preferred).
Strong working knowledge of Lean Tools: one piece flow line, actions work outs, moving /Pulse Lines etc)
Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and develop consensus with all organizational levels
Ability to drive cross-functional teams and lead change at all levels of the organization.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing systems.
Demonstrated 6 Sigma experience( Preferred BB Certified).
