Job Description
The main focus for this position is to provide data management support for Oxy Permian. Responsibilities include: preparing new hire offer letters and coordinate pre-employment activities; prepare employee transfers letters, manage PeopleSoft data in Peoplesoft associated with all personnel events (e.g., new hires, terminations, job or organization changes, salary actions, etc). Audit PeopleSoft data to ensure data integrity. Create routine and ad hoc reports. Maintain complex excel databases. Process and track recognition awards. Process and track leaves of absence (STD, FMLA, and LOA requests. Create and update organizational charts. Maintain HR data for the Permian Dashboard. Organize and coordinate meetings, trainings, and luncheons. Process invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals, and tracking for timely payment. Audit and maintain e-mail distribution lists. Provide support for HR related projects including, but not limited to, Affirmative Action Plan, Random Drug Administration Process, etc. Serve as back up for staffing activities.
Qualifications
· Minimum 7-10 years administrative experience; including data management and reporting.
· Experience with various payroll, HRIS or other related systems, e.g. PeopleSoft, a plus.
· Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, v look-ups, macros, a plus), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
· Excellent organizational skills – able to coordinate and prioritize numerous projects with competing priorities and produce accurate, timely work.
· Proven ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently with time sensitive deadlines.
· Must demonstrate flexibility when work assignments or priorities change and a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
· Ability to decide and act without having the total picture, comfortable handling risk and uncertainty.
· Ability to prepare correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Be resourceful in accomplishing work tasks and obtaining needed information.
· Ability to interact in a helpful, courteous and professional manner.
· Demonstrated sense of urgency and level of energy required to handle a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated reliable work ethic and desire to put in extra time and effort to ensure effectiveness.
