[Company] is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Team! This position is responsible for general and financial accounting, budgetary control and related functions which would include:
· Preparation of Financial and Management reports for Canada
· Coordination of budget preparation control and analysis
· Maintenance of general and financial accounting systems
· Train and/or mentor accounting staff
· Liaising with Auditors
· Administration of credit policy and collection of overdue accounts
· Develop policies and procedures to effectively deliver internal control over financial reporting
Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years in the financial accounting field.
· Good organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Proven ability to manage people.
· Preference will be given to those on a structured career path towards Controller.
