Responsibilities:
Managing sub contractors and their scope of work
Ensure compliance with HES and QC standards
Ensure provision of all AFC documentation to the yard
Provide technical assistance and resolve technical queries
Raise and issue Site Instructions to LCB as needed to relay changes in design details
Participate in implementation of project execution plan
Ensure issuance of specifications and material take-offs for project structural materials
Ensure internal QA/QC procedures are adhered to during the performance of design & procurement tasks
Requirements:
Suitable candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with minimum of five years experience in offshore oil & gas dealing with Topsides Decks and Jackets structures design.
Preferably with detailed knowledge of current design codes such as DNV, ANSI/ASME and ISO. Familiarity with structural design analysis an advantage.
