Responsibilities:
AutoCAD Applications support and programming.
Work on or coordinate new applications developments and enhancements in accordance with drawing office practices.
Inform users of potential problems and program bugs.
Coordinate user testing of new software and upgrades.
AutoCAD project setup and security requirements.
Transfer of data between AutoCAD and other systems.
Maintain log of Applications Software enhancements, bugs, and fixes.
Develop and maintain User Guides and Technical Notes for AutoCAD.
Integration with 3rd party design, detail and visualization software if required.
Liaison with all AutoCAD users for consistency of set-up, use and delivery.
Active member of the WorleyParsons AutoDesk Community of Practice (COP).
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Requirements:
Ability to write AutoCAD Macros using AutoLISP and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
Previous experience as an AutoCAD user in a design office in Structural or Civil disciplines.
Previous experience as an AutoCAD Administrator in a multi-discipline AutoCAD design environment.
Thorough knowledge of Singapore CP 83 CAD standard.
Ability to train users to upgrade to new AutoCAD versions.
Excellent administration and customisation skills.
Proven demonstration of a proactive approach to problem solving.
Excellent command of verbal and written English, with technical writing skills
Competent in MS Access, Word and Excel.
Knowledge of MicroStation desirable but not essential.
