Responsibilities:
Involve in planning and managing the technical operation of a fleet of offshore/ terminal tugs
Liaise with customers on operational and vessel performance matters
Supervise preventive maintenance and repair works to be carried out in the most efficient manner in accordance with planned schedules & budget allocations and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Liaise with the purchasing function for replenishing technical & operational supplies and carry out periodic review to ensure proper inventory control and optimum stock level maintenance
Ensure timely preparation, filing and dispatch of required reports and ensure vessel specifications and equipment details are updated at all times
Plan and supervise dry-docking, repairs, maintenance and surveys when required
Requirements:
Diploma/ degree holder preferably in marine, mechanical engineering or possess Class 1 Chief Engineer ticket
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiar with maritime rules and regulations, codes and guidelines, ISM code, ISPS requirements and class survey cycle
Preferably 3 years’ relevant technical experience
Current sea-going marine engineer or those without the above full qualifications and experience may also apply
The successful candidate will be on local terms and the compensation package will commensurate with your qualifications & experience
