Overview
Global Information Services (GIS) provides technical services to the global ConocoPhillips network.
Responsibilities
The Global Desktop Technical Analyst may be responsible for
Supporting the Common Operating Environment (COE) desktop (Windows 2000, Office 2000/2003 and Windows XP.)
Actively responding to customers technical needs.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving systems and/or software problems to minimize the duration of outages in this service.
Handling technically complex desktop support issues
Implementing and supporting various systems used by multiple business units
Frequent interaction with multiple GIS support team personnel in Bartlesville and Houston.
Participating in the 24x7x365 on call support process.
Working with global operations partners on desktop initiatives such as building process, product release management and roadmap for the COE desktop.
Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
High School Diploma / GED
Valid Drivers License.
Three years direct experience on how other technologies relate to Windows workstations.
Ability and willingness to work occasional off hours to support Global partners from your assigned work location.
