Responsibilities:
Accountable for the OPEX cost (budget and execution) of their allocated vessel(s) - Budget circa 50M USD
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Charter Party of their allocated vessel(s) in liaison with the Fleet manager and the Ship Owner
Responsible for the identification and implementation of improvement suggestions to enhance the safety and efficiency of their allocated vessel(s)
Liaise with Ship Owner Superintendent for any matters related to their allocated vessel(s)
Accountable to Projects for the readiness and the fit-for-purpose of the Vessel(s) in accordance with Group Mobilisation procedures and specific Project requirements
Responsible for the input to the project engineering in accordance with the Group Operations Instruction
Support the offshore operations for their allocated vessel(s) in accordance with Project requirements
Responsible for the performance of their allocated vessel(s)
Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of key performance indicators for their allocated vessel(s)
To review equipment and procedures and coordinate with Project
Recruitment (in liaison with HR), training and development of the crew (except marine crew) for their allocated vessel
Maintain regular contact with the Offshore Manager, follow-up the offshore marine operation onboard in coordination with the Fleet Manager and assist in scheduling process
Liaise with Mobile Assets Management and Survey departments
Liaise with the Regional Operations Manager for all matters related to their allocated vessel(s)
Responsible for development and implementation of rolling HSE Action Plans pertaining to their allocated vessel(s)
Responsible for the set-up and maintenance and up-dating of the Management System and technical library for their allocated vessel(s)
Assistance to Tenders and Projects as needed
Requirements:
10 years of management of offshore construction vessel (heavy lift vessels, pipelay barge, subsea construction vessels etc)
Fleet Manager
Chief Engineer
Offshore Construction Manager
You should preferably be a Project manager or Technical manager familiar with Marine Operations.
All above listed background shall be completed by a strong commercial awareness including management of Charter Party.
Fluent in both written & spoken English
Possess good communication and negotiation skills
A good team player whom possess leadership qualities.
