Responsibilities:
With the assistance of the SCM Engineers and Project Engineers, expedite the supplier documentation and regularly review the status of the supplier document register.
Working closely with the Quality Control (QC) Engineer, ensure that the documentations required for the kick-off and the pre-production meetings are approved and readily available for the meetings.
Ensure that the inspection and test plan is issued. Update the QC Engineer of all QC issues and anticipate their consequences on schedule.
Being the single point of contact with the supplier, you will receive and forward the suppliers' call for inspections to the QC Engineer/Client (as applicable).
Monitor the progress of the inspection and ensure documentation of the inspection reports. Forward findings (if any) to the supplier.
Ensure the expediting and inspection records are kept up-to-date.
Working closely with the transit agent to expedite the shipment documentation and handover.
Expedite the issuance and submission of the supplier's date book and ensure that they are in line with the project requirements, liaise with all parties to review the technical areas as well as with the supplier to amend the data book until acceptable and ready for submission.
Requirements:
At least 5-10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
Possess knowledge of the fabrication process
Possess a sound technical knowledge of the oil & gas/engineering/subsea field
Good interpersonal, communication, leadership and networking skills
A team player
Performance goal driven, responsible and actively monitor progress and provides supportive feedback
