Overview
[Employer] is seeking applicants to perform geoscience technician duties. Tasks tend to be weighted toward data gathering, operations database management, and geoscience software applications. This position is for the Western US Business Development team in Midland, Texas.
Job Description
The Geoscience Technician is responsible for:
Database management, storage and retrieval, with support from the BU data analyst
Map creation, geo-referencing, and data gridding and contouring.
Data loading, formatting, and transfer across applications.
Documentation and digital archiving.
Interacting with geoscience and engineering personnel to complete specifically assigned projects.
Independently monitor and prepare periodic reports.
Analyze and interpret data quality.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
Two year experience as a geological technician.
