Job Description
Develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. Responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Serve as technical expert on assigned area's applications, including code, interfaces and data flows.
Coordinate with project teams and business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
Demonstrate understanding of multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing.
Perform assigned tasks and project assignments in order to meet goals and objectives.
Through technical leadership, assist others in the accomplishment to work assignments.
Provide technical expertise and counsel to management, other organizations, and special projects personnel.
Prepare appropriate reports and communicate assignment status and results.
Make technical decisions by applying fundamental engineering principles and specialized knowledge or skills to assigned tasks.
Estimate costs and schedules; recommend resource required and solutions to problems, which arise during the course of a project.
Serve as a primary interface with internal and external contributing organization relative to technical requirements, directions and problem resolution.
Implement work activities to meet these plans, monitor progress, and report status.
Assist in the modification or establishment of operating practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/ GED with at least 10 years of information systems/ IT experience).
Prior experience (3+ years) in the development and implementation of engineering and/ or supply chain applications to support an engineer to order manufacturing organization.
