Responsibilities:
In charge of management and administration of large EPCI / turn-key contracts in the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry. Responsible for identification, preparation, mitigation, and resolution of changes and claims in a lump sum contracting environment, contractual bid review, analyse and negotiation of basic terms and conditions, at the bid stage and identification, preparation, mitigation, and resolution of changes and claims in a lump sum contracting environment during project execution
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a commercial/legal discipline (Quantity Surveying, Law, Risk Management, etc.)
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar commercial/contractual role in construction projects in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry
Confident individual with good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
Good command of English language
Sound awareness of commercial/contractual risk issues and contract law
Capable of working in a team environment
Effective negotiating and people management skills
