Qualifications
Basic/Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Geoscience.
· Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
· Seven years direct experience as a professional geoscientist in the petroleum industry.
· Direct experience in play and fairway mapping and prospect generation.
· Proficient in geoscience mapping software - Petra preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Geoscience.
· Experience working in unconventional resource plays.
· Experience in Mid-Continent and Rocky Mountain basins.
· Working knowledge of Petra.
· Working knowledge of Excel, Power Point.
· Ability to work effectively with geophysicists, engineers, and other geologists in a team environment.
· Knowledge of subsurface project management, project economics, and prospect portfolio management.
· Projects require the ability to work in data-intensive and data-poor environments.
· Good communication skills and creativity.
