Requiements:
Sc. in an Earth Science or related Engineering discipline with a minimum 15+ years experience in wire line / LWD formation evaluation.
Some cased hole logging experience would be advantageous.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Arabic is a plus but not a necessity.
Posses an excellent knowledge and understanding of logging tools and their log responses.
Have a solid petrophysical background.
Show strong leadership, organizational and inter-personnel skills and be proven self starter.
Committed to train others to an advanced level of petrophysics.
Demonstrate the ability to interact with peers in Oil Companies, discuss and disseminate client logging programs.
Should have had some sales and negotiation skills experience.
The candidate should have familiarity with common petrophysical software packages, and be able to understand, explain, analyse, and interpret advanced formation evaluation instruments.
Training will be provided where required.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the company expected level of log and data quality control.
Provide response and petrophysical support to both internal and external customers.
Coach a team of geoscientist around the Middle East and liaises with peers in the area support group in Abu Dhabi.
Generate basic and advanced Geoscience products and customer reports.
Liaison with Clients for job planning, follow up, support and technical advice.
