Responsibilities:
Assure that no materials enter or exit the warehouse without being transacted in SAP
Keep tight and absolute control of warehouse keys (including remote bunkers) allowing only warehouse personnel to access
Maintain a high level of productivity during normal working hours for the warehouse personnel
Be familiar with all procedures published in the IMTF Documents website
Ensure compliance with all existing Inventory Policies.
Train a backup manager to cover his/her absences
Implement, support and follow-up policies and practices that will require hiring/upgrading and training of current warehouse personnel.
Implement changes to physical layouts of warehouses.
Provide inventory management support to operations.
Work with operations to identify SLOB (slow movement and obsolete) material and direct approval processes.
Review and process all Ops bases’ orders before submitting to HTC.
Re-distribute available inventory at hubs to Ops bases before ordering new inventory.
Work with operations to identify gaps in local inventory practices and drive initiatives.
Provide support to the inventory team on inventory netting, cycle counts, and physical stock takes, and assist coordination of physical counts.
Handle special projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
Good verbal and written communication
Strong managerial and decision-making skills.
Strong organizational time management skills – must be capable of delivering to deadlines.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
10+ years experience in inventory coordination including 5+ years management or supervisory experience, preferably in the Oil Fields services sector.
Trained in IMTF Policies and procedures within 2 months of hiring.
Extended Supply Chain SAP Knowledge preferred.
APICS certification or equivalent is beneficial but not essential
