Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting
Performance evaluation
Maintaining contact with and following up suppliers
Participating in operational improvements and modification projects
Providing technical assistance in the daily operation and maintenance work
Responsible for planning and performing jobs, preparing documents for modifications and participating in projects
Leading the local professional network and supervisor of apprentices
Participating in relevant cross-disciplinary professional networks in StatoilHydro
Requirements:
MSc/engineer
safety-conscious
willing to work across several disciplines
cooperative
full of initiative
Experience from heavy processing industry and knowledge of static equipment (pipes, valves, tanks and containers) are preferable
good theoretical knowledge and experience related to pumps, steam turbines and compressors are required
knowledge of condition control of rotating equipment
