Responsibilities:
Tax compliance program for the entities in the region to ensure accurate and timely filing of the tax returns;
Liaising closely with external advisors, tax authorities and internal business managers on identified tax issues;
Involved in any tax investigation, audit or queries from the respective tax offices in the region;
Active participation tax accounting for quarterly provisioning and US tax reporting (i.e. FAS109);
Monitor and advice on cross border related transactions, withholding tax applicability;
Other ad-hoc tax projects as assigned by the managers.
Requirements:
Have a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or related discipline.
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in taxation environment in public accounting firm or MNC.
Have Sound knowledge of Singapore taxation laws and regulation is required.
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be independent and able to work under minimum supervision.
Be meticulous and is sensitive to the fast-paced organization environment.
Be well versed in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and preferably exposed to JD Edwards and Hyperion
Be able to travel to off-site location when required.
