Responsibilities:
Supplement to Chemical Treatment Engineer; preserves focus of chemical treatment engineer on integrity chemicals while assuming responsibilities for process chemicals.
Responsible for design of test programs and qualification testing for demulsifiers, water system biocides, scale inhibition, drag reducing agents, antifoamer and other utility chemicals.
Update Company approved chemical list. Interface with Company personnel regarding these programs.
Support to chemical treatment engineer regarding testing of corrosion inhibitors for oil system, corrosion inhibitor for Full Field development, asphaltene modeling effort for SFFD.
Support to oilfield chemicals Quality Assurance Initiatives.
Delivers additional technical expertise in microbiological corrosion; responsible for close out of selected findings from previous year external assessment by Microbiology.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
Minimum fifteen years experience with upstream offshore Oil field Chemical Programs; preferably including considerable experience with microbiological corrosion.
