Responsible for the planning, review, implementation and monitoring of quality policies, programs and initiatives. Ensures that systems, programs and policies are followed and all appropriate requirements have been complied with.
Your duties will include:
· Develop, implement and manage tracking and monitoring systems
· Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with regulations, and company policy
· Audit documentation for accuracy and completion
· Assist with developing policies , procedures, systems, and guidelines
· Maintain working knowledge of occupational health and safety rules
· Adhere to customer safety programs and rules as provided
· Review safety incidents, identify trends, and respond accordingly
· Develop, implement and monitor [Company] QC/QA program
· Develop and maintain QC/QA manual
· Advise managers on requirements to meet QC/QA standards
· Maintain records for documentary evidence that QC program meets requirements of regulatory authorities as well as internal and external customers
· Audit all processes and procedures to verify and ensure compliance
· Represent Quality Assurance on Management of Change initiatives
Qualifications:
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential KPI satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and or ability required.
· Post secondary education in management or administration is required
· Presently posses or meets the prerequisites to obtain ABSA approval for pressure piping and vessels
· Proven people and equipment management skills
· Approximately 10 years of progressively responsible experience specifically related to quality assurance/quality control
