Job Description
The QC Inspector reports to the QA/QC Manager. Assisting with the development of QC documentation, methods, ensures field implementation, and contractor compliance with all applicable directives. Responsibilities include the following:
Assists the QA/QC Manager with scheduling of testing activities.
Physically verifies compliance of installed work with construction documents.
Assist contractors with definition of test boundaries and testing methods.
Witnesses and documents all testing activities. Supervises and documents all third party testing activities.
Qualifications
5 years of oil, gas and chemical construction Safety Tech experience.
5 years experience in structural steel, process equipment, pipe, scaffolding, painting and insulation Safety is required.
Experience in field installation of Contractors and Subcontractors on a project with a very aggressive schedule.
