Job Description
To Process and analyze pipeline inspection data to produce a thorough and accurate technical report on pipeline condition in accordance with industry standards, which is used by PII clients and regulatory authorities to ensure the safe operation of oil and gas pipelines.
Flawless execution of data analysis.
On-time delivery of pipeline inspection reports.
Satisfaction of client expectations for the inspection report.
Pre and post service client support.
Provision of support when necessary in order to facilitate the reporting process.
Must act as the project leader for the duration of allocated projects.
Support of development of analysis methods and tools, in order to improve productivity.
Provision of an effective pre and post-sales support service for reporting information.
Optimal use of resources within the analysis area.
Quality check of pipeline listing and report content.
May coach and mentor junior analysts.
Report to various levels of management on project milestones.
Process the pipeline inspection data using customized software.
Assess and interpret the processed data to differentiate between features.
Assess defect significance based on formulae and parameters defined in International Pipeline Repair Codes and by the client.
Produce a technical report based on the analysis of the pipeline.
Support a 'help desk', which responds to client technical inquiries and integrity concerns.
Provide technical expertise to assist the Sales Department.
Support Services staff to identify and resolve problems with equipment and inspection data.
Resolve any difficulties in locating pipeline defects and if necessary recommends an appropriate non-destructive Test technique to identify and measure pipeline defects.
Correlate data from site measurements with inspection data analyze variances and prepare summary reports for management to monitor system performance and product quality.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science.
Desired
Must have a relevant understanding of analysis procedures and Quality Assurance procedures.
