Responsibilities:
Develop the Engineering Interface management procedure and administer the interface register with the help of the engineering manager
Interface Register
General support to the Project Manager on project issues resulting in the timely delivery and execution of the project
Liaise with supply chain management & contract lawyers for all procurement and service agreements
Help coordinate all interface and change management activities for the project
Help coordinate the various sub-contracts for the timely delivery and execution of the project
Help administering the contract agreements between SLB and its subcontractors whereby SLB interests are protected and income optimized
Analyze tenders received from subcontractors and suppliers, prepare bid tabulation and provide advice / assistance in the award process
Provide assistance with the review and check of invoices
Assist project manager with post subcontract queries, change order preparations and claims
Monitor the status of design, manufacturing, assembly and testing workscopes for each component of the system and input in schedule
Monitor and control project performance against budget, schedule, and quality and safety requirements using appropriate control tools and reporting of same to Management
Contribute to overall budget process and periodic reviews
Identify and highlight any significant issues which arise concerning subcontracts, in particular related to areas of risk, significant commercial impacts and any areas which may result in a change to the contractual workscope

Ensure quality objectives for the project are highlighted in all subcontracts
Ensure manufacturing quality control plan and installation inspection and test plan are mandatory in all subcontracts
Quality objectives for the project are achieved
Ensure that safety concerns are a priority during all phases of the work
Successfully complete required Company safety training
HSE objectives for the project are achieved
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in any engineering discipline
Extensive experience as Project Manager, Contract engineer, Project Services Manager or Senior Project Engineer in the subsea oilfield engineering industry, preferably acquired while working for a subsea construction contractor or a subsea equipment manufacturer
Experience in coordinating & interfacing with multidiscipline engineering design teams and operations team
Experience in coordinating & controlling team delivery in accordance with agreed cost & schedule, through design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning phases of a project
Knowledge of main subcontracting principles for Lump Sum Turnkey and reimbursable contracts and/or experience in quantity surveyor or contract law
Thorough understanding of the processes & systems used to monitor & control project delivery: planning, cost control, change management, interface management, contract management and supply chain
Thorough understanding of commercial & financial objectives & awareness of issues that can affect their delivery
Utilization of Microsoft tool (MS project, Excel and MS Word) for maintaining project planning and project control sheets is mandatory
Project Management skills
Under limited supervision, able to independently evaluates, organizes and prioritizes work within the overall project schedule
Good communication skills to facilitate meeting and discussions, and interact with peer groups and management, advising on their area of responsibility
