Select Team is focused on delivering exceptional value to our clients through improved technical advances and refined and safe operational processes.
We are searching for an experienced and self-directed professional to begin an exciting and challenging career with us as a Fulltime QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST.
The primary responsibility of this position is to direct the Quality Assurance function. The incumbent will develop, direct, coordinate, and maintain quality management systems as well as business processes and methodologies (continuous improvement, etc.). The incumbent will use professional knowledge, skills, and judgment to ensure quality standards are achieved, quality problems prevented, and improvements implemented. The secondary responsibility is to direct the HSE program. Inspection, documentation, persuasion, and communication skills are some of the skills that are required to be successful in this position. Training will be provided to complement existing skills. This is a very demanding position and we are looking for a results-oriented and highly capable individual with lots of initiative, drive, and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications:
· Post secondary education, certification, or equivalent training in Quality Assurance
· 5 - 10 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance or business process management
· Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the Internet.
· Experience in ISO 9000 systems, applications, audits
· Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Inspection skills and ability to examine, question, evaluate, report, coordinate and correct
· Committed to high quality, safety, and customer service standards
· Valid Driver’s license (Class 5 Minimum)
· Oil field service experience would be an asset.
