We are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Surveillance Supervisor. Based in Calgary, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies.
The ideal candidate will have:
· a minimum of 10 years direct related experience in a QA/QC role
· QA/QC experience with oil refining, heavy oil upgrading, gas processing, and petrochemical projects
· experience working with an Engineering company would be an asset
Primary responsibilities include:
· Manage the Surveillance effort on larger Projects
· Prepare and issue Surveillance assignments
· Develop overall Surveillance budget for projects
· Manage man-hour expenditures/expenses for compliance to the Project SQS budget
· Train and mentor junior Surveillance Coordinators
· Liaison with Client and various disciplines as required
· Chair Pre-Inspection Meetings when required
· Review and approve supplier Inspection & Test Plans
· Review RFQ packages for inclusion of quality requirements
· Review Surveillance reports and follow up on any action items as required
· Provide support to the SQS Manager
