Job Description
This position is located in Midland, TX in the Lower 48 Business Unit, working with assets in Wyoming and Utah.
Successful candidates for Drilling Engineer will be responsible for:
Being an advocate for safety by designing and implementing projects in such a manor as to improve safety results.
Preparing accurate cost estimates for new-drill projects.
Evaluating, designing and implementing new-drill projects. Developing expertise in Best Practices.
Providing engineering support for rig activities.
Developing goals and performance matrices. Track and measure matrix and implement improvements as necessary.
Complying with all regulatory requirements and demands. Meeting all regulatory deadlines.
Interacting effectively in an interdisciplinary team framework. Interacting effectively with the vendor community.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
Three years experience in Petroleum Engineering (Drilling, Production, Reservoir)
