Job Description
Responsible for equipment repair and maintenance, inventory control of spare parts, and technical training.
Must be able to interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and restocking of LWD kits using basic test equipment. (Multimeter, Calipers)
Maintain accurate records using network based software and standalone reports.
Needs ability to operate industrial/heavy equipment. (Forklifts, various cranes, pressure sprayers, etc.)
Responsible for maintenance of transmitter overhauls, replacement of all parts, and testing.
Responsible for electronic maintenance including tool interwiring, board change, functional testing, sensor calibration checks, battery module rebuilds, and fault diagnosis.
Clean and inspect tubulars and field equipment.
Monitor inventory levels.
Available on a 24 hour on call basis to assist in the field during rig-up time.
Maintain documentation of serviced equipment.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
0-2 years experience working with LWD equipment or related experience
General electronic knowledge
General computer knowledge
Oilfield experience
