Description:
Our Client, a Major International Offshore Oil & Gas Engineering Contractor, requires HSE Superintendents, to work on Offshore Operations based in at their UK Head offices in Aberdeen.
Requirements:
Candidates should have minimum of 3 years experience of providing HS&E advice in a dynamic offshore marine environment within the construction industry
Marine management experience at a senior level in an offshore construction environment is desirable.
Should have an excellent working knowledge of UK HSE legislation & the application of this to subsea construction activities
A marine background & experience, either working on vessels or vessel management, preferred
Knowledge of International Safety Management (ISM) process an advantage
Also ability to demonstrate organisation & delivery of HSE specific training courses
Environmental Hazard / Safety Analyst , General Safety & Health Compliance knowledge.
Candidates must have a relevant HS&E qualification to NEBOSH certificate level & be working towards diploma level or equivalent
STCW 95 certification for bridge or engine room operations would be great advantage.

Responsibilities:
Working in the Asset Delivery Team, will be reporting to the Vessel Manager & the HSES Manager Contributing to the development of HS&E Policy & practice as well as delivering HS&E Excellence for the company’s worldwide offshore operations.
As an active member of the Company HSE community, focus will concentrate on the delivery of HSE support within the organisation.
Role requires a strong team player with the ability to influence personnel at all levels of an organisation, in all aspects of HSE & risk management .
Will require, drive enthusiasm, commitment & flexibility to be able to fill this dynamic & demanding role
