Shell Canada is currently seeking a Completions / Drilling Supervisor in our Exploration & Production
Wells department located in Calgary, Alberta.The successful candidate will functionally be reporting to the Superintendent, the Supervisor is accountable for the efficient and cost effective implementation of and supervision during the day-to-day operations. The position keeps the Superintendent advised of on-site operational problems, HSE effectiveness, manages the on-site contractor community, helps to resolve problems on-site when requested to do so by the Superintendent and has a learning/training progression component to more critical tasks and operations.
Responsibilities:
· Manages Royal Dutch Shell (RDS) HSE Process And Is Accountable To All Performance Indicators
· Capable Of Leading On-Site Incident Investigations
· Provides Leadership And Real Time Guidance To Site Personnel With Superintendent Mentorship
· Accurate Cost Coding And Control
· Capable Of Contractor Management On The Worksite
· Daily Reporting And Clear Communication To Calgary Office
· Manages Program Within Cost Effective Guideline/Expectations Looks At Innovation For Improvements Throughout The Project Implementation In Consultation With Superintendent
· Manages Site Emergency Response Plan, Emergency Preparedness Plans For Remote Operations
· Maintain Effective Relationships With Regulatory Site Inspectors
Requirements:
· Requires 2-3 Years Supervisory Experience To Show Consistent Job Excellence And Promotional Capability
· Needs To Be Effective In Communication Skills
· Must Be Able To Handle High Stress Problem Situations And Be Capable To Lead The Well Site Team To Successful Resolution
· Requires Clear Understanding Of Procedures/Policy For Well Site Operations
