Responsibilities:
To undertake Process engineering design work in with true regard to Safety both in design detail and engineering design execution
To carry out design work in compliance with the national, state and client asset Codes & Standards under direction from the Lead Process Engineer
To engineer all design work in line with the Process QA manual and procedures.
To be innovative in design work with due regard to minimisation of cost whilst maintaining technical integrity
To undertake all work within the estimated manhour budget and within schedule
To maintain all files and Process documentation in an orderly fashion
To undertake Process engineering work in any Project to the best of ones ability
To search out and clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work prior to the work being carried out and raise deviations where necessary
Prior to commencement of any Process work , a Process scope of work (SoW) must be written and agreed with the supervising Senior/ Lead Process Engineer (or designated representative). The Process SoW must clearly state the workscope, manhour budget and schedule to complete the work
Estimate Process manhours for any job using the current TW Process manhour norms
Ensure all work is checked and approved before issue
Responsible for maintaining work progress (budget, schedule) and raising change documentation where necessary.
Supervision of Process design work, budget and schedule in Project work where requested by the Lead Process Engineer
Liaison with client, vendors and outside parties in a professional manner
Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent
Graduate Engineer (IChemE, IEAust) or equivalent preferred) or of Appropriate Engineering Institution
3 years minimum
Offshore Related Experience
2 years design experience (preferred) & 3 years oil and gas experience
