Job Description
- Facilitate & contribute to Sourcing strategy development
- Utilize the eSourcing (Ariba) tool for launching & processing sourcing events
- Support the GPS Services Business Model, including a close partnership with GPS Corporate Business Partners and identified client groups
- Contract authoring utilizing the iCMS electronic contract management tool
- Lead Legal terms & condition resolution with Suppliers / Vendors
- Coordinate internal stakeholder and support group collaboration
- Consultation & support to client groups during commercial negotiation
- Supplier selection, award, and execution
- Contract service call-offs, amendments creation, addendums, and annual renewals
- Deliver and report financial synergies and value creation for GPS and its designated clients groups
- Identification and implementation of process efficiencies and improvements
- Contract administration, implementation, and transition to a Supplier Management resource
- Coordinate review & assessment of Contract agreements for convergence and leveraging opportunities
- Support and successfully complete Company-specific tools such as iCMS, iBuy, SAP, iPay, and other P2P electronic tool requirements
- Be a champion for change
- Special assignments upon the request of supervisor (including travel) may be routinely required.
Position Location: Bartlesville, OK
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business or direct work experience equivalent
- Effective interpersonal communications skills (verbal and written).
- Minimum of five years experience in the IT discipline
- Strong background in Information Technology language / negotiations (specifically software).
- Understand the Sourcing & Contracting processes for both Software & Hardware Services and Goods.
