Our Training Shared Services Team is looking for a knowledgeable, dynamic, energetic, passionate professional to take on the position of Senior Training Specialist involved in the sourcing, development, design, delivery and evaluation of Corporate Human Resources core training.
Responsibilities will include:
- The execution and ongoing review and development of our Corporate Leadership Development strategy.
- Acting as a supporting resource to developing leaders.
- Overseeing the review, revamp and ongoing monitoring of the corporate New Employee Orientation to ensure a high level of effectiveness.
- Providing development assistance and ongoing support to employees involved as facilitators of HR Core Training programs to optimize their effectiveness.
- Overseeing/leading projects or pieces of work related to Corporate HR training strategies aimed at maximizing employee competency.
- The successful candidate will:
- Be a self-starter, able to work in a team atmosphere, requiring minimal supervision.
- Will possess superior organizational, as well as coaching and mentoring skills.
- Be able to work with and relate to a workforce possessing diverse skills, abilities, experiences and backgrounds.
- Will possess a passion for the work and be dedicated to high quality output that adds value in the “field”.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a role involving curriculum or training design and delivery, and teacher/trainer coaching and mentorship, using adult education principles.
- A university degree in adult education or a degree and supplementary adult education certification or related experience.
